I've been playing on and off for over 30 years. Never really played local tournaments, although I was ranked#3 singles at Watkins Mill High School and Montgomery College Rockville. I wasn't good enough to make even the lowest singles seed at UMD College Park. I serve over 100mph, have a vicious kick on my second serve, and enjoy hitting hard with lots of top-spin. I've used both one and two handed backhands. I'm 5'9" 220 pounds, so I'm a lot heavier than I was when I was playing competitively. However, I am pretty quick for my size. I'm not sure if 5.0 accurately describes my skill level at this point. I'm more concerned with losing my belly, getting the heart rate up and avoiding injury than competing.
