I come from Bavaria but have lived in the states since age 12. Was raised with ice hockey and initially played at University until injuries were too much to want to continue playing the sport. Eventually transitioned into tennis and found the two sports share very similar footwork patterns and object tracking. I am a USTA 6.0, UTR 13 player. Have played in various countries and have been a warmup partner for a few ATP players. After growing up in a competitive team sport I put that behind me and now do not enjoy competition. Prefer everyone to have an excellent time and grows as players. I do not compete in tournaments as winning matches is not my goal.
Does studying research journals count as hobby? Paleoclimatology? High Energy Particle Physics? Leptons and muons? Not sure how people answer this question. I was the guy at University living in the library. Is knowledge a hobby?

I am a virgo German, which means I pay attention to every little detail. My unique personality allows me to coach my students in ways that help them understand hidden elements within techniques that can unlock their potential. Tennis is mostly mental and requires a large amount of cognitive comprehension and mental problem-solving. Technique and the intricate details involved are what separate great players. Looking to work with intermediate players that are both open-minded and also able to absorb new ideas.
