In a tennis doubles game, it is discovered that a player served out of turn. When should the order of serve corrected and what happens to the earned scores (if any)? Please choose from the following.

1. The game should continue to play as altered with score counting.
2. The server should change immediately as the mistake is discovered, but the scores earned should be voided.
3. The server should change immediately as the mistake is discovered, and the scores earned should be counted.

If the error was discovered during the game, (3) is the correct answer. The server should change as soon as the mistake is discovered, but all points scored and service faults shall be reckoned.

If, however, the mistake is discovered after the game is complete (1) is the correct answer.  The order of service should remain as altered until end  of the set.
