2 Forehand

Choose what you can repeat in points, not your best single shot.

3 Backhand

Include whichever backhand you usually use.

4 First and second serve

Consider placement, repeatability and double faults.

5 Return of serve

Think about an opponent serving at your usual level.

6 Volleys and transition

How comfortable are you moving forward?

7 Movement and recovery

Judge your positioning rather than speed or fitness alone.

8 Point construction

How does your game hold up when you keep score?

Your responses are used for this estimate and are not saved to your player profile.

Understand your tennis rating

What is NTRP?

NTRP describes tennis playing ability using level bands. This questionnaire considers consistency, shot control, serving, movement and tactics. League placement must follow USTA’s official self-rating process and experienced-player guidelines.

What is UTR?

UTR rates players from 1.00 to 16.50 using actual match results. A questionnaire cannot reproduce that algorithm. Our broad range is a conversation starter for finding suitable practice, not a verified rating.
